Who We Are

The Women’s Ministry is one of the most active ministries at Nyali Baptist Church. They conduct their activities in a highly effective manner and the activities include Prayer breakfasts, visitations, retreats, Iwe Nuru and Wajumbe wa Yesu programs, amongst others. The ladies’ ministry has distributed itself into smaller units defined as house: House of Hope, Joy, Peace, Love, Light, Worth, and Valor, which is assigned to a senior mother as a mentor.

The ministry has over the years observed that a sizable number of women and girls are suffering in silence and sometimes have no one to turn to.

The house concept enables the ministry to reach out to every lady who has joined either of the houses and continues to be an avenue for recruiting more women to the ministry and offering spiritual, psychosocial, and socio-economic support to the ladies.

The women’s ministry is committed to enabling Nyali Baptist Church to have a robust Sunday School teacher’s team, leaders of the youth groups, and parents to reach their constituencies including children, adolescents, and youth to promote favorable and respectful relationships.
